Staff Test Pilot 5

The AH-64-E MTP - Maintenance Test Pilot (AH-64) obtains a detailed knowledge of operating in the AOR airspace. Must be proficient flying in day VFR conditions. Engineering Test Pilot

Overview Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP). The MTP shall perform general or limited test flights of aircraft when ground diagnostic tests cannot determine the safe and/or proper functioning of aircraft components or systems. The MTP shall conduct aircraft general and pre-flight readiness inspections. The MTP shall successfully start, run-up, fly, navigate and safely land aircraft IAW applicable aircraft operators manual. The MTP shall correctly complete all required aircraft maintenance forms, records, and aircraft logbooks entries. The MTP shall perform mathematical calculations, performance data, and landing configurations of the type series. The MTP shall conduct briefings to flight crew members and maintenance personnel in support of the various MTP aircraft operations as stated above. During the 2nd Shift efficiently conducts all UH60 Maintenance Pilot tasks in strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. UH60 Maintenance Pilot (2nd Shift)

The CH-47F MTP - CH-47F Maintenance Test Pilot (CH-47F) obtains a detailed knowledge of operating in the AOR airspace. Must be proficient flying in day VFR conditions.
