About the position
La Compagnie is recruiting experienced Airbus A321 First Officers to join its flight operations team based at Paris-Orly Airport, France.
The airline specializes in all-Business Class transatlantic flights, connecting Europe and the United States. This opportunity is suited to pilots with Airbus fly-by-wire experience who are looking to develop their careers in international airline operations.
Successful candidates will join La Compagnie's Airbus A321 fleet, operating transatlantic services with a focus on flight safety, operational efficiency and passenger experience.
Key responsibilities
- Operate Airbus A321 aircraft as First Officer on scheduled transatlantic flights.
- Support the Captain in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.
- Perform flight preparation, flight planning and operational checks.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and applicable aviation regulations.
- Maintain effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) and communication.
- Monitor aircraft systems and support decision-making during normal and abnormal flight operations.
- Maintain required licences, medical certification and operational proficiency.
Minimum requirements
- Valid ATPL or CPL with frozen ATPL.
- Valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) aeroplane rating.
- Valid Airbus Type Rating, with an A320 Type Rating required at the time of joining.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Minimum 1,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum 500 Airbus flight hours.
- Airbus fly-by-wire (FBW) experience.
- English Language Proficiency: Minimum ICAO Level 5.
- French Language Proficiency: Level 6.
- No history of aviation accidents or incidents.
- No criminal record or security restrictions.
Preferred qualifications
- Valid U.S. entry visa.
Candidates holding a valid U.S. entry visa will receive favorable consideration during recruitment.
Recruitment and selection process
La Compagnie has announced the following recruitment schedule:
November 10, 2026 | Pre-selection calls
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by phone and informed of their assigned interview time.
November 16, 2026 | Selection day
Candidates will complete a technical knowledge assessment before proceeding to a motivation interview.
A minimum score of 80% on the technical assessment is required to advance.
November 18, 2026 | Simulator assessment
Candidates who successfully complete the motivation interview will be invited to a simulator assessment.
December 1, 2026 | Planned start date
Selected candidates must hold a valid Airbus A320 Type Rating when joining the airline.
