Thanks to you, our planes are safe and ready for use on time. You oversee the flawless maintenance in our hangars (Schiphol East) or at the line (Schiphol Centre) by getting your hands dirty, directing your team of technicians, and keeping a close eye on everything. ABOUT THE JOB <ul> <li>Providing troubleshooting advice when required to Flight Crews and engineers worldwide to aid rectification of aircraft in service defects</li> <li>Carrying out daily calls to key line stations &amp; 3rd party bases to discuss current aircraft defects, aircraft operational status and planned night stop maintenance</li> <li>Monitoring of Deferred Defects, Maintenance Actions and previous overnight maintenance activity to prevent Repair Interval Extension (RIE) process being invoked</li> <li>Liaising with the Flight Ops &amp; Base Maintenance Departments as to the serviceability and readiness state of the aircraft to maintain the daily flying programme</li> <li>Co-ordination of Fleet Line Maintenance Activities worldwide through liaison with Engineers, Handling Agents, Flight Crews &amp; Operations Duty Manager</li> <li>Acting as the initial focal point for all engineering issues within the TUI Group for Line Maintenance, and directing the resolution of any AOG situations</li> <li>Liaising with Part M on all technical and airworthiness queries between line stations and support departments</li> <li>Liaising with Boeing and component OEMs on operational technical issues when required</li> <li>Monitoring component removal history and invoking appropriate troubleshooting actions</li> <li>Use of the MEL to optimise the maintenance plan</li> <li>Supporting the Operation in a 'hands on' role where the need arises</li> <li>Deputising for the MOC Duty Manager</li></ul> ABOUT YOU <ul> <li>Ability to hold CAA / EASA B1/B2 License </li> <li>Recognised Aircraft Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience</li> <li>Significant experience of AOG resolution, both hands on and detailed recovery planning</li> <li>An excellent knowledge of AMOS, including maintenance planning functions and modification control</li> <li>A logical thinker with the ability to generate ideas, alternatives, and solutions</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss &amp; explain complex situations to all areas of the business.</li> <li>Make decisions based on operational risk with respect to Flight Delay Compensation</li> <li>Strong organisational skills and sound office IT skills</li> <li>Willingness to support the operation at short notice, including overseas, when required</li></ul> From a workplace to a place to belong. MOC Engineer

Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cabin System Technician m/f to join our Cuqtomer Services department, based in Toulouse, France As a Cabin System Technician you establish cabin modification and upgrades after aircraft delivery. As a Cabin System Technician, you will join a team of 16 people and you will have an End-to-end scope. You will manage the entire process from the initial offer to final implementation, encompassing the design and development phase. Your challenges : After customer acceptance, once the offer is accepted, you are contributing to cabin conversions projects for which you are accountable for engineering activities during the production phase as follow: <ul><li>Participate to Kick Off Meeting for our team perimeter (technical scope &amp; detailed planning validation)</li><li>Being the engineering contributor for your portion of cabin reconfiguration in front of the cabin actors (MP dossier, engineering drawing, LOCs &amp; SB drawing set)</li><li>Following project management of your contribution deliverables (including LLI &amp; LOCs)</li><li>Elaborating Service Bulletin preparation activities for your perimeter (internal or external preparation/authoring depending on the Make or Buy Policy)</li><li>Preparing the MP dossier (Mod) instruction (MP intent box) for the engineering portion you are responsible for</li><li>Elaborating the impacted RF/CI list for Known Mod and the Interface table from the Technical Offer (TO) + cabin layout for the work package you are responsible for</li><li>Analysing &amp; proposing PRE/POST design solutions for the RF/CI your are responsible for</li><li>Creating &amp; pre-validating engineering &amp; design activities following the release process (based on future technical delegations)</li><li>Keeping Suprem planning up to date for all activities under your responsibility</li><li>Identifying "Long Lead Item" (LLI) part for early ordering and the final List Of Components (LOC), to be in line with the kit delivery Target Date (TD)</li><li>Being Responsible for Engineering/LOC production planning (BU letter) for your portion</li><li>Pre-check of the SB to contribute to the SB Scrutiny for your portion (practice for your future technical delegations)</li><li>Providing technical support during SB embodiment on aircraft via remote (as necessary) and prepare answer to SB queries &amp; Defect report (DR),</li><li>Ensuring on-site technical assistance during the working party.
