Job Description: Airbus Blagnac is looking for a Synthetic Flight Instructor (NON FLYING POSITION) to join the Airbus Training Centre. You will Instruct airline crews converting to Airbus on all operational and technical aspects for a specific type (or types) using: <ul><li>Fixed Base Simulators,</li><li>Classroom,</li><li>Airbus Pilots Training Devices</li><li>Full Flight Simulators</li></ul> You will give stand-up lectures in order to insure airline crews capability to carry out safely and correctly all normal and emergency procedures required by Airworthiness authorities so that the crew will achieve the required level of standard proficiency. You will adhere to Airbus standard policy and standardization as required by Airbus Flight Training Operations. You will instruct the crews within the defined time limits. You will evaluate the crews' progression. You will decide, need be, on the necessity to give any extra session to achieve the level of proficiency. Task &amp; accountabilities : You will be responsible for the following activities: <ul><li>Instruct crews using the above mentioned training devices</li><li>Deliver if required (and after being indoctrinated) others specific courses ( ETOPS, performance..)</li><li>Need be, participate in courses development or in standardization instruction.</li></ul> Required skills : <ul><li>Hold or have held a Commercial Pilot Licencse (CPL) &amp; Frozen ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) or ATPL</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) as Pilot</li><li>A minimum od 3,000 hours as Pilot</li><li>A minimum of 1,500 hours on Multi Pilot Aircraft (MPA)</li><li>Minimum of three years commercial aviation experience as pilot on FAR 25 / CS 25 or FAR 23 / CS23 aircrafts in Multi Pilot Operation (MPO), preferably on an Airbus Aircraft.</li></ul> - A Synthetic Flight Instructor Authorization or experience as Instructor would be a plus. - A negotiation level of English is required for this position. - You are recognized for your pedagogy, your perseverance, your flexibility, your curiosity and your adaptability. - You are available for business trips worldwide. Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI)

Job Description: The Airbus Type Rating Instructor / Examiner (TRI/TRE) will belong to the Airbus Europe Training Centre (AETC) / Training department based in Blagnac (Toulouse) - Europe, and will conduct flight training and simulator training for various international customers. Commuting is not possible. Within this scope the (TRI/TRE) will represent Airbus in front of the operators, and in front of the Authorities. The Airbus TRI-TRE will work with different teams across the world and will have opportunities to develop her/his expertise in various fields and roles, including management / project positions. PREREQUISITES • Hold an EASA ATPL Licence • Hold a Valid EASA TRI on A320+A330/A350 LIFUS • Hold a Valid EASA Medical Class 1 • Hold a minimum English Language Proficiency Rating of 4 Fluent in English • Hold a Low visibility Operations qualification (at least 1 Autoland on Airbus Fly By Wire (FBW) aircraft as Captain) • Hold or have held an ETOPS qualification • Flight hours experience required: • A minimum of 5 000 hours as Pilot • A minimum of 2 000 hours on Jet Large aircraft • A minimum of 2 500 hours as Captain on Airbus Aircraft • A minimum of 500 hours instructor experience in FFS on large aircraft, • A minimum of 500hrs experience as Captain assigned to conduct LIFUS/IOE. • A significant part of the obtained instructor experience have to be initial type rating oriented • Qualify (current) and experienced as Captain and TRI on A320 + A330 / A350 • TRE experience is a plus • Significant Commercial Airline Experience • Evidence base training / Competences Base Training Assessment expertise is required • Project management minded • Managerial experience is a plus • Experience in Flight Safety is a plus Accountabilities • The TRI/TRE reports directly to the Head of TRI/TRE, in the Flight Crew Training organisation in Airbus Training Center Europe (ATC EU). • Belongs to the execution department. Base • The contract is based in Blagnac (nearby Toulouse). • Commuting is not possible • 3 years in a row, must be done in the execution department. After the first 3 years, possibilities of mobility inside Airbus. Main activities • Acts as TRI/TRE for Airbus, • Line training or Line checking for Airbus • Simulator training or Simulator checking for Airbus mainly in Toulouse. • Support to TFOS community (Training &amp; Flight Ops support) • Support office activities on demand • His/her roles are: • To conduct best possible training &amp; checking according to his/her qualifications within Airbus Training, to ensure a safe and efficient Entry into-service and operation of Airbus aircraft. • In flight (Initial Operating Experience) • In simulator • To work on different projects on demand in the frame of TFOS • To represent Airbus ATO and Manufacturer in front of the customer • To support the customer, especially during the flight period, in order to ensure the entry into service, the safety. • To have a proactive role, in order to identify the potential problems and find solutions to tackle them. • To act as Team leader during Initial Operating Experience • Coordination with the Airbus team • Coordination with the airline • To ensure standardisation, development, management tasks during his/her career within Airbus • To maintain and upgrade her/his competences according to his/her qualification. • Organisation of the work (Pattern) • Cycle of 3 months • 1 month of line training abroad (Usually 30 days in a row) • 1 month of simulator training in priority and few ferry flights • 1 month of simulator training in priority and few ferry flights Specificities • When hired, the TRI/TRE has to convert his/her licence to the French State (DGAC), with the support of the standardisation department. • Probation period: 3 months minimum renewable This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
