Purpose of Role

• To work closely with the Europe country managers to align and coordinate operations and sales activities for the commercial benefit of the Company and to provide solutions where issues arise.

• To assist the Group by delivering new Key clients and enhancing existing customer’s business in Europe linking with global teams, by also utilising the supporting teams in the Europe region.

• To maximise business opportunities by offering tailored solutions to meet Key client requirements within budgetary and operational restrictions whilst making suitable profit for the company.

• To continuously achieve and meet budgeted GP for the assigned territory and the Key account portfolio.

• Achieve the agreed KPIs as well as the respective yearly budget numbers whilst maintaining cost control measures.

Key Job Responsibilities

• In conjunction with EU Cargo SVP/VPs, create a Key Account Strategy and implement in Europe.

• Drive business increase and support from Key Accounts and create customer loyalty.

• Introduce account development plans (ADP)

• Key Account reporting – in conjunction with the COO, overhaul reporting to ensure consistent and accurate analytical insights to develop business and satisfy minimum reporting standards for customers.

• Monitor progress monthly against key account strategies and report back to Cargo VP/SVP, highlighting any issues or concerns making recommendations for action where applicable.

• Champion Key account issues within the organization, establish performance indicators. Primary point of liaison with customer on all business-related matters. Agree process with customer to monitor CF performance and retain accountability to address issues affecting Key customer support. Work with other departments to ensure continuous consistent service and growth.

• Working in conjunction with the cargo team to manage and process enquiries and tenders as well as resulting awards / fixtures.

• Ensuring that all tenders and quote requests are attended to immediately upon receipt.

• Deciding who should assist you in working on the requirements, mentoring and delegating as appropriate.

Responsibilities of the Role

	<li>Ensure timely offer with detailed and accurate information is provided for clients.</li>
	<li>Follow up regularly and work towards confirmation.</li>
	<li>Ensure all contracts, insurance and regulatory matters are accurate, legally compliant and that company requirements are met.</li>
	<li>Verify supplier contract in detail and ensure all terms comply with company charter agreement.</li>
	<li>Issue flight brief with all flight related information.</li>
	<li>Liaise with clients to identify requirements and source suitable, competitive aircraft charter solutions.</li>
	<li>Maintain and develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads to maximise business opportunities and increase client loyalty in an industry where client retention is never guaranteed.</li>
	<li>Ensure client is always kept informed of any development linked to specific bookings.</li>

Product Manager of an agile team in Cargo

As a product manager, you are responsible for a team that develops new functionalities in Cargo. This is to enhance collaboration with their customers (forwarders) in the sale of Cargo products. This team works according to agile principles and consists of both French and Dutch employees from IT and the Cargo business. Apart from setting up a team, you will be responsible for realizing the first minimum viable product (MVP).

Leading a combined (AF-KL) team

You are responsible for delivering IT products to employees or businesses of Air France and KLM. This together with your team members in Amsterdam, Valbonne, Toulouse, and Paris. Including, the AF-KL Collaboration team, who are responsible for delivering Office 365 solutions such as Microsoft Teams and Office.

Also, new initiatives like Power Platform, a set of tools for rapid and easy application development. In this role, you will learn how to efficiently align IT products with both KLM and Air France and how to manage teams at different locations with all the associated cultural aspects.

Managing the transition of Air France-KLM to the cloud

This time requires faster time-to-market and the flexibility to better respond to the needs of our passengers. To achieve this, we say goodbye to our physical data center and migrating our applications to the cloud. This brings significant changes to our way of working (DevOps). As well as investments in our colleagues' knowledge and training. It will be your task to guide this process with your team, or as part of the transformation program.

Applying Artificial Intelligence

Data is the new oil and plays a growing role in making better decisions. You will be challenged to explore which new AI tools we can use to further optimize our schedule. This involves using data sources both within and outside of Air France-KLM.
