Warehouse Officer / Storeman

ALG has a great opportunity for a Warehouse Officer /Storeman to join a well-established aviation organisation based in Tullamarine. The position will give the successful candidates valuable exposure to the aviation industry, as well as a wide range of future career prospects, including the potential to become a permenant staff member.

This position is a casual role (minimum 6 months commitment) offering a 4 on 4 off rotating roster.

Some of the main responsibilities of the position are:

• Inventory dispatch and receiving goods
• Pick Pack and packaging products
• Ensure accuracy of stock location
• Manual handling
• Maintaining company premises and equipmen
• Tool handling (check/out) and cleaning
• Performing cleaning duties to ensure safety and suitability for use

The successful candidates possess the following attributes:

• Full working rights in Australia
• Forklift License desirable but not essential
• Stores and pick packing experience desirable but not essential
• Current ASIC and ADA highly advantageous
• Willing to comply with medical requirement (drug/alcohol and physical test) at own cost
• Strong attention to details, ability to multi-task and good communication skills and
• Demonstrate full compliance will all work rules and regulation.
