Role Overview STS Technical Services is seeking experienced helicopter pilots to serve as H125 Captains supporting air medical transport operations in Tucumcari, New Mexico. This is a leadership role with responsibility for mission execution, crew coordination and safe flight operations in time-critical environments. The pilot is the final authority in the aircraft. Operational overview Aircraft: H125 Operations: VFR and NVG Instrument rating required 24-hour operations with rotating day and night schedules Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off Operates under established air medical transport guidelines Key Responsibilities Serve as Pilot-in-Command for all assigned missions Execute safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations Lead and coordinate with medical crews during patient transport missions Assist with loading and unloading of patients and medical equipment when required Support Safety Management System initiatives and operational improvement efforts Represent the operation through professional conduct and community engagement Licences & Qualifications Commercial Helicopter Licence with Instrument Rating required First Class Medical Certificate required Experience Minimum flight experience: 2,000 total flight hours 1,500 helicopter hours 1,000 Pilot-in-Command helicopter hours 500 turbine helicopter hours Night operations experience: 100 hours unaided, or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours NVG. Requirements Maximum body weight of 235 pounds Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Ability to complete a physical and functional capacity exam, including lifting up to 100 pounds What We Offer Sign-on bonus up to $50,000 Location bonus up to 35% Off-duty housing provided Relocation assistance available with a service commitment Competitive compensation with shift incentives and annual bonuses Long-term stability within an established air medical programme Additional Information Aircraft transition training may require a service agreement.
