Drukair is looking for two Trainee Pilots to join its Helicopter Services Division in Paro, Bhutan.
This opportunity is designed for young candidates who want to begin a professional helicopter pilot career and complete the required ground, flight, simulator and conversion training under Drukair's training and operational standards.

Reports to: Manager, Heli - Flight Operations and Crew Training Section
Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Pilot, you will:
• Complete ground school, flight training, simulator training and conversion training in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Successfully complete all required examinations, skill tests, training programs and operational assessments within the prescribed training period.
• Maintain knowledge of Bhutan Civil Aviation Regulations, the Flight Operations Manual and applicable aviation procedures.
• Support safe and efficient helicopter operations under the supervision of designated instructors and the Pilot-in-Command.
• Participate in flight planning, operational briefings, documentation and other operational support activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety awareness, discipline, professionalism and teamwork.
• Follow all company safety procedures, reporting requirements and operational policies.
• Support other units within the Helicopter Services Division when required.
• Maintain valid aviation medical fitness and applicable licensing requirements throughout employment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Manager, Training Captain or Head of the Helicopter Division.
Candidate Requirements
Education
Candidates must have passed Class XII Science with:
• Minimum 60% aggregate
• Minimum 60% in English
• Minimum 60% in Mathematics
• Minimum 60% in Physics
• PCA in Class X
Age
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old as of the application deadline, meaning they must have been born between 4 August 2001 and 3 August 2008.
Height
• Female candidates: minimum 160 cm
• Male candidates: minimum 165 cm
Vision
Candidates must have normal 6/6 vision without glasses or contact lenses.
Experience
Previous relevant work experience or training in a related field is considered an advantage.
