About the Company Pier Seven Aviation FZC works in aviation training, with a classroom training facility as well as various Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs). The company specialises in initial type rating and recurrent training programmes for pilots on the Airbus and Boeing fleets, and is expanding its scope of training to include ATPL examination training. Role Overview Job role: Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI). Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Type: contractual / part time. The company is looking for a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) at its Sharjah office who will take on the challenge of delivering high-quality theoretical training for ATPL exams, ensuring trainees acquire the foundational knowledge required for their pilot licences and certifications. Key Responsibilities Teach GCAA theoretical knowledge subjects for the ATPL examination. Be familiar with the training support material (course notes, e-learning course content or other materials). Be familiar with the e-learning platform used, in order to regularly access student accounts. Prepare the lesson plan before every course. Monitor student progress in classroom training and on the e-learning platform. Indicate the support material and specific documents to students. Inform students about progressive checks, examinations (partial and final), expected periods and specific requirements, regulations and targets. Ensure that an appropriate environment is available for training. Participate in recurrent instructor training annually. Requirements A minimum of 1 year's experience as an instructor teaching a minimum of 5 of the listed ATPL examination subjects. Knowledge of, and the ability to teach, ATPL examination subjects. Excellent presentation ability, interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; able to learn new software and systems efficiently. Experience of working directly with regulators, certification bodies and other standards organisations. Should have own transportation arrangements.
