Contract Length: Until 30 June 2026
Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 7am-7pm)
Pay Rate:Up to £37.02 per hour (Umbrella)
Up to £27.68 per hour (PAYE)
Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Our Client)

The Opportunity
Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Quality Manager to join a high‑performing supply chain and quality team. This is a pivotal role supporting on‑time and on‑quality delivery across complex manufacturing programmes, working closely with a global supplier base.
You will manage a portfolio of structural suppliers, ensuring compliance, performance, and continuous improvement, while acting as a key interface between suppliers and internal multi‑functional teams.
This is a challenging, customer‑facing role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and enjoys influencing across organisational boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers to ensure on‑time and on‑quality delivery of parts to final assembly lines and plants
- Manage supplier performance, compliance, and product quality against defined requirements
- Support supplier development activities and capability improvement initiatives
- Act as the supply chain quality voice within multi‑functional teams, collaborating with engineering, programme, procurement, and customer services
- Identify, manage, and mitigate supply chain and quality risks
- Apply practical problem‑solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, 9S, Ishikawa, 5 Why) to resolve issues effectively
- Operate with autonomy while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Engage with external partners and gain exposure to a variety of manufacturing technologies
Essential skills & experience:
- Proven experience in supply chain management
- Exposure to quality principles within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capability
- Confident stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and challenge appropriately
- Project management awareness
- Curious, adaptable, and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and manage supplier relationships effectively
