Location: Filton, Bristol (Minimum 80% Onsite)

Contract: Contract until November 2026 with potential extension
Rate: £30.69 per hour Umbrella / £22.94 per hour PAYE

Hours: 35-hour week (4.5-day working pattern)

IR35: Inside IR35

Clearance: BPSS+ (to be completed prior to start)

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring the seamless supply of critical components to global manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional who enjoys supplier management, problem-solving, and working within a fast-paced international environment.

The Role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing supplier performance and ensuring the right products are delivered at the right time, in the right quantity, and to the right location. You will act as a vital liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping to maintain uninterrupted production and supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor purchase orders to meet business requirements.
  • Optimise ordering parameters including safety stock, reorder points, and batch sizes.
  • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Monitor forecasts and supplier performance to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
  • Analyse MRP and supply exception messages to proactively address risks.
  • Support issue resolution relating to deliveries, quality concerns, goods receipt, and invoicing.
  • Track and report on supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Participate in supplier reviews and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support new product introductions and stock management activities when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working within a supply chain environment.
  • Experience using SAP and MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities.

Desirable

  • Experience using Google Workspace tools.
  • Ability to quickly integrate into a new environment and deliver value from day one.
