Structure Repair Mechanic

Job Description

• Inspect, troubleshoot, identify problems, and perform repairs according to Structure Repair Manual and/or instructions
• Follow written technical repair procedures to determine repair application
• Understand and maintain all safe work practices and rules
• Read and understand work orders and record repairs correctly
• Perform assigned work while maintaining efficiency, target, and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records (time, repair orders, and parts usage) on the computer
• Be able to provide information to customers regarding repair status and quotations
• Participate in all safety meetings, training requirements, and team meetings
• Complete work cards, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
• Work with the senior mechanic/technician to inspect and validate repair parts
• Inform the production manager about statuses of repair frequently
• Be able to interface with store associates, suppliers, and customers in a respectful and effective manner
• Look after diligently and maintain all the tools in the shop
• Perform other related duties as required or directed"

Requirements

1. Education:
• Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
2. Experience:
• Candidates with 1 - 3 years experience as a Structure Repair Mechanic/Technician are preferred
3. English skills:
• Solid command of the English language with good communication skills
• Minimum TOEIC score of 350 or equivalent
4. Soft skills:
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Quick learner who pays careful attention to detail
• Good manual dexterity"
