ALG Talent is current seeking applicants for a number of positions, including Warehouse Officer and Line Maintenance Support Coordinator (LMSC) / Tool Crib Officer, to join one of our well-known airline clients based at Cairns Airport.

These are casual 12-month positions, working on a 4-on, 4-off roster (11-hour shifts), with the potential for extension.

Warehouse Officer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Recieiving incoming aircraft parts and verify accompanying documentations
  • Inspect parts for damage and ensure correct condition and compliance
  • Process inventory movements into stock management systems (TRAX)
  • Organise freight and shipment of aircraft components
  • Package and label parts for transportation
  • Conduct general stocktakes and cycle counts

Line Maintenance Support Coordinator (LMSC)/ Tool Crib Officer - Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the issuing, tracking, and return of aircraft tooling, parts, consumables, and GSE
  • Ensure all tooling and equipment is maintained, serviceable, and compliant, including arranging repairs and scheduled servicing
  • Perform minor maintenance and rectification of tooling and equipment
  • Support hangar and line maintenance operations, including preparation for checks
  • Maintain accurate records using tool and inventory management systems
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to achieve operational outcomes

To be successful, ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Experience in aviation, logsitics, warehousing, or a similar operational environment
  • Exposure to inventory, tooling, parts, or stock control systems (highl regarded)
  • Experience using inventory, warehouse, or ERP Systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, safety-first mindset
  • Ability to follow structured processes, policies, and procedures
  • Reliable transport
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and obtain an ASIC
  • Full working rights in Australia
