Role Overview Skyborne Airline Academy is offering sponsored upgrade opportunities for Flight Instructors looking to enhance their instructional qualifications and progress their careers. If you hold an unrestricted FI(A), Skyborne can offer bonded instructor upgrade pathways, including sponsorship towards: Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) privileges Multi-Engine Class Rating Instructor (CRI ME) PIC Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) hour requirements Not only are these upgrades funded through the bonded training programme, you will also receive a salary throughout your training. Once fully qualified, your salary increases in line with Skyborne's Flight Instructors to £62,400, and you become eligible for the uncapped bonus scheme. The modern fleet of eight DA42 aircraft is supported by an in-house maintenance team, with preventative maintenance inspections conducted every 100 hours. This proactive approach helps maximise aircraft availability, enabling instructors to make the most of their flying hours and training opportunities. This position is based onsite at Bournemouth Airport and is available on a full-time basis. Applications are encouraged from candidates who are close to meeting the required criteria, as all applications are individually reviewed by the Training team. Licences & Qualifications UK CAA Part-FCL unrestricted FI(A) Certificate. Hold a CPL and IR-SP-ME. Approaching 200 hours of instrument flight time. Unrestricted UK CAA Class 1 Medical. Requirements Demonstrate a strong commitment to aviation education and safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to trainees.
