About the Company Rishworth Aviation is partnering with Skymark Airlines to recruit B737NG Captains. Skymark began operations in 1998 as the first low-cost carrier established in Japan and is based at Haneda, the airport closest to the centre of Tokyo. The airline operates scheduled passenger services throughout Japan with a fleet of B737-800 aircraft and has shown strong performance in recent years. Role Overview Captain on the Boeing 737NG, operating Skymark's scheduled domestic network. The role is an opportunity to obtain a JCAB (Japan) licence. Licences & Qualifications Candidates must be type rated (B737NG & MAX). ICAO ATPL with B737NG type rating; the type rating must be valid for a minimum of 6 months at the start of training. Valid Class 1 medical certificate. English proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or above. Experience Total time: 5,000+ hours. Total PIC time: 1,500+ hours on commercial jets. Last flight within 12 months. What We Offer Up to 10 consecutive days off per month for commuting; with the airline's approval, 1-3 annual leave days may be added for a longer block. Net pay and allowances including per diems, accommodation, furniture and children's education. Air tickets for a monthly commute home, or a USD 500 allowance for months spent in Japan. Minimum requirements may be negotiable for JCAB licence holders. Candidates holding ATPLs issued by states whose civil aviation authorities cannot respond to licence verification requests from their Japanese counterpart in a timely manner regrettably cannot be considered.
