Job Description

Role Overview Simulator Instructor for approved new hire, upgrade and recurrent training programmes. Key Responsibilities Teach with enthusiasm and passion, applying a high level of knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures. Recognise, identify and correct student deficiencies. Display a high level of professionalism in appearance and demeanour. Maintain thorough knowledge of the GOM, CFM, FOTM and company training materials. Complete student training records on time. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Standards and Training or the Director of Training. Requirements Meet the flight instructor qualifications of 14 CFR 121.412. Excellent communication skills. Able to pass a 10-year background check. Licences & Qualifications Hold an Airline Transport Pilot licence. Eligible for an E-170 PIC type rating. Experience At least 1 year of experience as PIC or SIC in a transport category aeroplane. Additional Information Preference is given to previous or present Mesa Airlines, Inc. employees.
