Avion Express is a narrow-body ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) and charter operator. Avion Express provides top-level short and long-term aircraft wet-leasing (ACMI) solutions and also offers its clients aircraft on a charter basis. The company operates an Airbus A320 family aircraft fleet.

Avion Express is looking for ambitious professionals to support the company's matters and further development of the company. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ARE YOU READY TO?

  • Assist Certifying Staff in the performance of line maintenance tasks, including sheet metal repair and structural work as required.
  • Comply with aircraft manufacturers maintenance data, company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support Certifying Staff in fault isolation and defect rectification during line maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and organize tools, equipment and materials required for work package accomplishment.
  • Ensure that tools, equipment and maintenance premises are maintained in a satisfactory and serviceable condition.
  • Report any deviations, defects or non-conformities identified during task performance to Certifying Staff without delay.
  • Maintain accurate records related to tools, equipment and assigned maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • FTS, HF, EWIS training (appropriate level as described in P-145 requirements);
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience working on aircraft as a sheet metal worker and mechanic
  • General knowledge of the relevant type of aircraft (A320 Family Type Training would be an advantage);
  • Flexibility, ability to set priorities and make quick decisions;
  • Willingness to work day/night shifts, ability to work under pressure, and attention to details;
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
  • Good knowledge and experience in operating computer software programs (work skills with OASES software would be an advantage);
  • Hands-on experience with structural repairs, including: Sheet metal repair and replacement, riveting (solid and blind rivets), structural inspections and damage assessment;
  • Willingness to go on business trips for a longer period of time.
