Rate: £27.00 per hour Umbrella / £20.18 per hour PAYE

About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced four Role Equipment Specialists to join a busy and highly skilled aircraft maintenance operation based at RAF Brize Norton. Working within the Role Equipment Bay, you will play a key part in maintaining and servicing essential survival and mission equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance within a fast-paced aerospace environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with aircraft maintenance, military, aerospace, or survival equipment experience who enjoy hands-on technical work and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Service chemical oxygen generators in accordance with OEM and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect, maintain, and repack life vests and associated survival equipment.
- Input and maintain accurate records within maintenance management systems.
- Apply corrosion prevention treatments to equipment and components.
- Carry out daily servicing of role equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Follow all quality, safety, and maintenance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement activities and maintain workplace standards aligned with 6S principles.
Essential Requirements
- Previous aircraft maintenance, role equipment, or survival equipment maintenance experience.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow regulated maintenance procedures.
- Experience using digital maintenance systems and recording technical data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team environment.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within military aviation, aerospace, or MRO environments.
- Familiarity with military aircraft platforms.
- Understanding of human factors, FOD prevention, and tool control procedures.
- Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent military/civilian qualification in aircraft maintenance or related disciplines.
