About the Company Republic Airways is one of the largest regional airlines in the United States, operating modern Embraer E170/E175 aircraft on behalf of Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and United Airlines from bases across the country. Role Overview The RJet Cadet programme lets flight students receive a Conditional Offer of Employment with Republic Airways as early as their instrument rating or commercial certificate. The programme carries no commitment or contractual obligation. It is designed as a transition from the classroom to the cockpit on modern Embraer E170/E175 aircraft, and Republic's partnerships with Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and United Airlines, plus its broad base network, give cadets a wide set of options. Requirements All candidates No more than one check ride failure. Eligibility to work in the United States. FAA First Class Medical (lapsed privileges acceptable). Resume attached to the application. Cadets with R-ATP (1,000 or 1,250 hours) Instrument rating. No more than 700 hours, or less than 6 months, until the date of conversion to First Officer. Cadets with ATP (1,500 hours) Commercial certificate. No more than 1,000 hours, or less than 6 months, until the date of conversion to First Officer. What We Offer Conditional Offer of Employment. Additional Information Interview process: interviews run year-round, both virtually and on site in various locations. There is an HR portion in which the recruiter reviews your documents and qualifications and gets to know you as a pilot, and a technical portion conducted by a current Republic Airways pilot. Be prepared to read a METAR and TAF and to brief an approach using a Jeppesen chart.
