Role Overview Join the team in Bremen as a Remote Pilot at the earliest possible date, flying and supporting unmanned aerial system missions for customers. Key Responsibilities Flight preparation, including mission briefing, weather forecasting, NOTAMs and airspace requirements Translate customer requirements into concrete mission planning Coordinate mission requirements with the operations team and air traffic control (ATC) Carry out the mission to the required extent Operational and technical mission debriefing and reporting after landing Conduct technical check flights following maintenance work Support the maintenance team in testing and troubleshooting the UAV and the ground systems Work as a Payload Operator when required Payload Operator duties Support the AVO/PIC in flight preparation, execution and post-flight work Operate sensors and payload to meet the customer requirement for a successful mission Monitor the sensor and payload-related system components Carry out the reconnaissance element of the mission based on customer requirements Coordinate directly with the AVO/PIC on tactical mission elements, and with requesting parties where necessary Support in-flight emergencies Store and process the reconnaissance results Requirements Willingness to accept a continuous posting to Israel Willingness to travel regularly to the countries of operation as required by the company, including countries subject to German Federal Foreign Office travel warnings Existing experience abroad, ideally on German armed forces (Bundeswehr) deployments Very good written and spoken German and English Physical and mental resilience Strong team spirit, independent and responsible working, intercultural competence and the ability to integrate Pronounced customer focus Licences & Qualifications Valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) Qualification as a Heron Air Vehicle Operator, with several years of experience, is an advantage Aeromedical fitness (EASA Class 1, other commercial operations) What We Offer Attractive remuneration including special payments 30 days of holiday as standard, plus additional days off for special occasions Work-life balance: flexible working hours between 06:00 and 19:00 and the option of mobile working Personal development and further training opportunities in an international environment Employee share programme, company pension scheme and health provision Travel allowance for public transport Ample free parking, plus charging for e-bikes and electric cars Company fitness offer On-site canteen Additional Information Company: Airbus DS Airborne Solutions GmbH. Requirements

  • Flight preparation, including mission briefing, weather forecasting, NOTAMs and airspace requirements
  • Translate customer requirements into concrete mission planning
  • Coordinate mission requirements with the operations team and air traffic control (ATC)
  • Carry out the mission to the required extent
  • Operational and technical mission debriefing and reporting after landing
  • Conduct technical check flights following maintenance work
  • Support the maintenance team in testing and troubleshooting the UAV and the ground systems
  • Work as a Payload Operator when required
  • Support the AVO/PIC in flight preparation, execution and post-flight work
  • Operate sensors and payload to meet the customer requirement for a successful mission
