OceaniaALG is currently seeking a Reliability Engineer on behalf of our aviation client based in Perth.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with fleet performance data and play a key role in supporting airworthiness and continuous improvement initiatives across a Fokker 100 operation.
This position is offered as a casual contract (full-time hours) for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
A Tertiary Qualification in Engineering (or related technical discipline)
Minimum 2 years' experience in an engineering, reliability, or technical role
Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance programs and reliability processes
Experience working within a Part 42 environment, with knowledge of AMP and reliability program requirements
Experience working with the Fokker 100 (highly desirable)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret maintenance and performance data
Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions
High proficiency in Microsoft Suite and maintenance information systems
Ability to obtain a red ASIC and complete required security checks
To excel in this role, you should have:
Experience monitoring fleet performance, identifying abnormal failures and defect trends
The ability to analyse recurring defects and recommend effective corrective actions
Strong communication skills to liaise with Engineering teams, OEMs and Maintenance personnel
Experience supporting improvements to maintenance programs
A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative technical team
