About the Company Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, Germany, is recruiting for its "Quality EF Series, Prototypes and Future Projects" department. The team's main task is to guarantee the conformity of the Eurodrone and Eurofighter weapon systems with the defined specifications; "on quality, on time, on cost" is the top priority in maintaining and increasing customer loyalty and satisfaction. Role Overview Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Quality Inspector Mechanical/Technical for Eurodrone and Eurofighter production in Manching. Key Responsibilities Carry out quality inspection tasks for products and services using predefined inspection points. Perform incoming inspection of Eurodrone and Eurofighter major units on arrival. Support and contribute to setting up Eurodrone production and its processes. Inspect and check work during the assembly, equipping and test phases of the Eurodrone prototypes. Release and accept splice components and system splices in the Eurofighter Final Assembly Line and Eurodrone prototype build. Support and accept the B and C tests. Issue engine ground run and flight clearances for the Eurodrone prototypes. Perform final acceptance of the complete aircraft and subsequent handover to the customer. In the event of deviations, support root cause investigation, help develop corrective and preventive measures and support solution finding. Confirm the conformity of the product or service. Observe and check the working environment, facilities, hardware and tools for conformity with applicable operating and safety requirements. Provide guidance and advice on observing quality aspects in order to avoid future problems. Act as technical contact for internal and external customers. Participate in internal audits. Carry out manufacturing observations in the production areas. Licences & Qualifications Completed training as an aircraft mechanic. Completed training as a master craftsman or technician. CAT B1 basic course. Experience Eurofighter knowledge is an advantage. Experience working with SAP. Experience working with PDM. Strong commitment and technical experience. Quality-focused and experienced in handling complex situations. Requirements Languages: fluent written and spoken German and English. Team player, ready to work with and within a motivated team.
