We're recruiting a Process Performance Engineer (Lineside) to support manufacturing operations within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment in Broughton. This role focuses on improving production flow, driving efficiency, and supporting shop floor teams to ensure delivery targets are met.
The Role
You'll be responsible for optimising production processes through line balancing, performance analysis, and continuous improvement activities. Working between the office and shop floor, you'll help identify inefficiencies, resolve issues, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop production sequencing, line balancing, and planning tools (e.g. PERT charts)
- Monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement
- Support shop floor teams with technical issues and non-conformance resolution
- Improve processes through data analysis, including STV and value-added activities
About You
- NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) with manufacturing experience
- Strong background in process improvement and production environments
- Knowledge of SAP, line balancing, or production sequencing is beneficial
- Comfortable working both office-based and on the shop floor
