Role Overview Woolpert Africa is looking for experienced and mission-ready Survey Pilots to join its dynamic Operations Team. Based in South Africa, this role involves extensive fieldwork across various locations, supporting Woolpert's geospatial and aerial survey missions. It suits candidates who are passionate about aviation, thrive in challenging environments and are eager to contribute to world-class aerial data operations. Requirements Valid Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) with a current medical certificate. Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time. Current night and instrument rating. 120 hours on twin-engine aircraft. Valid passport. Must be flexible to work away from base for up to 6 weeks at a time. Experience Experience flying turbine aircraft (preferred). Prior survey flight experience is advantageous. Completion of the following short courses: CRM (Crew Resource Management), DG (Dangerous Goods), SEPT (Safety and Emergency Procedures Training); SMS (Safety Management Systems) is advantageous. Bonus aircraft ratings - candidates rated on the following aircraft will have a strong advantage: Cessna Reims F406, Piper PA31-350, Partenavia P.68 series.
