About the Company The Flight Operations department is the core of OSM Aviation Academy, located at Gullknapp Airport, Norway. The Academy is seeking dedicated and passionate instructors to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation. Role Overview The OSM Flight Instructor Career Program gives you the opportunity to develop as both a pilot and a flight instructor at OSM Aviation Academy. After successfully passing the assessment, you will be given the opportunity to work and instruct at the Academy as both a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) and a Flight Instructor (FI). The programme extends 2–3 years from employment through to holding certification for all training in the ATP courses. What We Offer Gaining experience and procedural knowledge opens up opportunities at an early stage of your FI career programme, with internal upgrades such as: Internal IRI course. UPRT-I course. Internal CRI course. FII rating. During the second year of employment, the focus is on Instrument Rated Instructor training or other administrative tasks that can be offered. Internal courses may be expedited depending on the candidate's previous background and performance. Additional Information Opportunities with partner airlines: After completing your trial period, OSM will facilitate an assessment with partner airlines such as Norwegian, Widerøe or Norse Atlantic Airways. Before departure you will have gained an extensive network, knowledge and experience to tackle the challenges ahead, along with many instructor ratings you can use at a later stage. In 2024, OSM Aviation Academy facilitated ten flight instructors joining Norwegian in Oslo, Norway.
