ALG presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Material Handler to join a reputable organisation located at Essendon Fields Airport. This role promises invaluable exposure to the dynamic aviation industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Maintenance Organisation Procedures, including safety and environmental guidelines.
- Attend morning meetings and update the team on constraints; prioritize and handle parts timely.
- Inspect and document all incoming/outgoing materials, including electrostatic-sensitive components.
- Quarantine and label rejected tools/parts, inform the Buyer for corrective actions, and manage SAP system entries.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor tooling calibration, and inventory levels, and ensure good housekeeping practices.
The ideal candidate possesses the following:
- Previous experience in aviation or material/parts environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous SAP experience
- Current Forklift License
- "Road Transport/Awareness ADR" (Dangerous Goods) training (advantageous but not essential)
- "Incoming Goods Inspector" training (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
