Pay: £30 p/h PAYE | £40.13 p/h Umbrella + 20% shift uplift

The Opportunity

Join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on the shopfloor, enjoys solving technical issues quickly, and wants to work at the heart of high‑precision engineering.

What You'll Do

You'll provide day‑to‑day technical support directly on the production line-resolving issues such as missing parts, non‑conformities, concessions, DQNs, tooling needs, and outstanding work. You'll manage work orders, identify recurring problems, and escalate more complex matters to specialist teams.

The role also contributes to continuous improvement, helping eliminate waste, refine processes, support tooling updates, and ensure quality and EH&S standards are consistently met.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone with strong manufacturing or aviation experience, confident problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work systematically in a fast‑moving environment. Experience with Lean manufacturing, stakeholder engagement, and SAP is beneficial. An NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent experience) is desirable, but hands‑on expertise is what matters most.

Shift Pattern & Extras

You'll work alternating weeks of early (06:00-13:10) and late shifts (13:30-20:40) with a 20% uplift, plus paid overtime at premium rates. No travel required, and the hiring process is a straightforward one‑stage interview.

Interested?

If you're ready for a role where your decisions make an immediate impact on production performance, we'd love to hear from you.
