Location: Belfast (Hybrid - up to 2 days WFH per week after training)
Contract: 12 months (with potential for extension)
Rate: Up to £46.82/hr Umbrella | Up to £35/hr PAYE (DOE)
Start Date: Expected 1st October (subject to project go-live)
Our Client, a leading organisation in the aviation and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Business Controller / Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-value business unit, supporting strategic financial planning and performance improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across business units.
- Partner with operational managers to identify and validate improvement projects.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to both local and central teams.
- Provide financial insight and challenge to drive operational performance.
- Support investment and performance improvement proposals with robust financial analysis.
- Control financial activities across Recurring Cost, Inventory, Non-Recurring Cost, and Capex (as required).
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
- Proficient in SAP or similar financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple levels and geographies.
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset and collaborative team approach.
