The Maintenance Technician Assistant will be responsible for the assistance on the on-time maintenance execution on the Arajet Fleet using all the manufacturers and internal applicable procedures which are being in compliance with the local authority regulations in order to provide safe and reliable maintenance services. These functions include the use of Arajet´s Maintenance Information System, internal reporting to the Maintenance Technicians, Leaders and/or Managers and any continuous improvement actions that can be identified by the coworker.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Use of Tools and Software
- Make all requisitions of tools and parts using the maintenance information system of any maintenance evaluation for defects restitutions.
Operational Execution
- Check and execute under supervision all the work orders which are planned to be comply during the applicable maintenance shifts
Safety Operations
- Perform under supervision an on time, clean and safe work using all established procedures and regulations from the manufacturers, local authorities and Arajet
- Secure a clean job environment of any aircraft, maintenance facilities and tools as required.
- Functions and Responsibilities in relation to SMS are:
- Comply with the Policies, Objectives and Requirements of the Operational Safety Management System,
- Actively participate in the Operational Safety Reporting System,
- Inform the Operational Safety and Risk Management of the dangers, accidents, incidents, unsafe acts, violations, deviations and unsafe conditions that are generated in the operation and maintenance work.
- Address and establish action plans to close non-conformities generated during the different audits scheduled by internal auditors.
- Receive, read and understand the information provided by Operational Safety and act in accordance with the given guidelines.
- Attend and approve the Operational Safety Instruction.
- Receive and answer the Operational Safety surveys designed by the Operational Safety and Risk Management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A valid IDAC ETMA License (preferred).
- 2 years of experience in aviation industry. A proven experience under an approved educational facility is accepted.
- Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and understand the English and native language.
- Flexible to work on rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days-off.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and able to communicate effectively with the team, management, colleagues, and external suppliers.
