Job Description

Role Overview Ravenair's Line Training Captains (LTCs) are its most senior crew. They are responsible for training and developing the company's other AOC staff members. This may involve performing Operator Proficiency Checks (OPCs), conducting training exercises in both the simulator and the aircraft, conducting interviews, and a number of administrative tasks. Requirements Hold a UK driving licence. Hold a valid Class 1 medical, with no OML restrictions. Live within 60 minutes of Liverpool, or be willing to relocate. Have previous Part-SPO experience. Licences & Qualifications Hold a Commercial Pilot Licence or above. Hold a UK issued Flight Crew Licence. Hold (or have held) a Single Pilot Multi Engine Instrument Rating. Hold (or have held) a Multi Engine Piston (Land) Rating. Experience At least 500 hours total time. At least 100 hours PIC on multi-engine piston aircraft. Additional Information This is an evergreen, year-round hold-pool role rather than a dated vacancy. Ravenair states: “Our recruitment process is different to that of other companies. Whereas recruitment is often open for only a few weeks at a time, we operate a year-round recruitment process” and “we always accept applications for all roles. If you are successful during Stage 2 of the process, you will be kept in a hold pool until we require pilots, at which point you will be invited to a Stage 3 assessment.” No posting date or closing date is published. How to Apply The employer states that only applications submitted via its online form will be considered; any applications emailed directly to an email address will automatically be rejected.
