About the Company DHL Air (UK) Ltd is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK, operating a fleet of B757-200, B767-300 and B777-200 aircraft on worldwide operations. Part of the DHL Express team with headquarters at East Midlands Airport, the company aims to deliver its customer promise of "Excellence, Simply Delivered". Role Overview DHL Air (UK) is recruiting additional Licensed Aircraft Engineers and 'A' Licence Mechanics to join the maintenance team based at East Midlands Airport. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor / Station Supervisor, you will be part of a team responsible for the safe and timely maintenance of the DHL fleet. You will perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory airworthiness standards for all contracted airlines operating for DHL within DHL Air (UK) Ltd's area of responsibility. The role is vital in keeping aircraft serviceable and departing on time while minimising carried-forward defects. Licences & Qualifications A UK-issued B1/B2 licence with experience on some of the following types: B757 RB211, A300-600, B767 CF6, B777 GE90 and A330 RR Trent; or A UK CAA Part-66 'A' Licence with 12 months of line maintenance certifying experience. Experience on DHL's aircraft types is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidates. Candidates must hold a valid right to work in the UK and provide evidence of this during recruitment. Requirements Licensed Aircraft Engineer / Mechanic with proven experience. Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise your own workload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels. Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines is essential. Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications. Excellent attention to detail and able to adhere to policies and procedures. Knowledge of TRAX and/or AMOS or a similar computer-based maintenance system would be an advantage. Additional Information Work location: EMA Cargo West, East Midlands Airport, Derby, DE74 2TR. Hours: Full time, rotating day/night roster including weekend shifts.
