What You Will Do
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the airworthiness, safety, and operational reliability of Emirates aircraft while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, manufacturer instructions, and company procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out maintenance, servicing, inspection, troubleshooting, and rectification activities on Emirates aircraft.
- Certifying maintenance activities within the scope of your approvals and licences in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Performing component changes, fault diagnosis, and defect rectification using approved maintenance data and procedures.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with the latest approved technical documentation, engineering procedures, and safety requirements.
- Managing aircraft turnaround activities to maximise maintenance opportunities during ground time and minimise operational disruption.
- Ensuring the correct use of tooling, equipment, materials, and spare parts while maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Supporting Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery operations and, where required, representing Emirates during aircraft delivery, acceptance, and outsourced maintenance activities.
- Promoting the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence while actively contributing to Emirates' safety culture.
- Collaborating closely with Engineers, Supervisors, and operational teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance delivery.
- Supporting the development and performance of junior engineers and technicians where applicable.
- Maintaining technical competence through recurrent training and continuous professional development.
What You Will Bring
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Degree (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic or Technical Engineering, or a recognised Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence.
- Minimum 10 years' aircraft maintenance engineering experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as certifying staff.
- At least two aircraft type approvals, including one Emirates fleet type (A380, A350 or B777).
- GCAA, UK CAA or EASA licence (or eligibility for conversion) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aviation legislation and regulatory requirements governing aircraft maintenance and operations.
