We are looking for Lead Engineers to strengthen our Team in Cologne!

Scope of responsibilities:
- Leadership and supervision of a team of around 20 Mechanics and Engineers
- Lead the operations, consisting of about 20 aircrafts per night
- Carry out line maintenance on one or more of the following A/C types: B747-400, B747-8, B757, B767.
- Certify that maintenance work has been carried out correctly and thus ensure that our customers get their fleet in the air on time
- Give technical instructions, coordinate and control the maintenance work of others
- Perform line maintenance on aircrafts and issue a certificate of release to service after minor check ups, and including the weekly check.
- Ensure compliance with safety directives and application of safe working methods
- Note that most of the shifts are night shifts!
Qualifications:
- Certificate/Diploma from College or Technical school in Aeronautical engineering
- Current EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License, preferably with at least one type rating as stated above.
- Qualifications as per appendix 4 of the EASA Part 145 ( Ref: Certifying Staff not Qualified to EASA Part 66)
- Proof of current Continuation Training status
- Solid knowledge on 145 Legislation
- Aircraft maintenance experience requirements as per the EASA Part 66 regulation
- Knowledge of English (written, read and spoken)
- Sound knowledge of report writing and customer briefing
- Knowledge of aircraft safety rules and regulations
- Knowledge of technical requirements and customer demands
- Sufficient knowledge about specific operator- and type- procedures including customer demands
- Knowledge of non-technical handling procedures and instructions
