Role Overview As Lead Captain you hold ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient and professional operation of assigned flight assignments, serving as Pilot in Command while also leading, mentoring and developing crew members. Key Responsibilities Lead with confidence: ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analysing weather and route conditions to make informed decisions. Crew leadership and development: mentor and guide crew members, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate schedules and training to maintain seamless operations. Champion safety and compliance: promote a strong safety culture, conduct passenger briefings, and promptly address aircraft discrepancies with the maintenance teams. Administrative excellence: manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring, and represent Jet Aviation professionally in all internal and external interactions. Work environment: work takes place in both heavy maintenance areas and upscale customer spaces, with occasional high noise levels when aircraft arrive and depart, frequent vibration and occasional fuel fumes, plus changing weather and seasonal temperature extremes in hangar settings.
