Role Overview Transavia is looking for experienced Boeing 737NG Captains with TRI/TRE privileges for its new home base in Brussels, which joins Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven this year. The role is advertised at 24-32 hours a week. From day one you are part of the team building the base. You will fly the Boeing 737NG, and over the coming years the airline moves to the Airbus A321neo, for which you will be retrained. As an instructor and captain you fly a wide range of demanding, dynamic routes within Europe, with destinations such as Greek islands, popular city-break airports and snow-covered airports in the far north. You are part of a highly professional team of more than 700 pilots. Your main responsibilities are safeguarding the safety and efficiency of flight operations, delivering excellent service to passengers and working closely with the whole crew, alongside your TRI or TRE duties depending on your qualifications and experience. Licences & Qualifications Valid EASA ATPL with TRI or TRE privileges Valid ME/IR (A) PBN Valid Class 1 medical certificate ICAO ELP 5, upgrading to ELP 6 during training Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with a minimum of 3,500 current total flying hours, of which at least 1,000 hours as Captain on type, including 50 hours flown in the last six months Requirements Able to swim one full length unaided, so you can take part safely in the wet drill Valid EU passport What We Offer Starting salary of €11,220 gross per month, plus a monthly block hour allowance of €39 gross per hour, which can run to more than 100 hours a month; the salary rises by an average of €300 gross a year, excluding indexation where applicable Permanent contract, with taxes paid in the Netherlands and social security in Belgium Year-end payment of 8% of the gross basic salary Holiday allowance Pension scheme with a 10% employer contribution Loss of licence scheme Uniform, parking costs and medical examinations fully reimbursed by Transavia Final roster published 35 days in advance 20 holiday days under the Belgian accrual rules, plus 10 public holidays (pro rata) Staff travel under the ID95 scheme within Transavia after three months' service, and access to a worldwide network of airlines at attractive rates after one year, subject to availability The option to work part-time from 12 months after your line check Additional Information How to apply: apply directly using the button on the vacancy page. Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL with TRI or TRE privileges
- Valid ME/IR (A) PBN
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate
- ICAO ELP 5, upgrading to ELP 6 during training
- Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with a minimum of 3,500 current total flying hours, of which at least 1,000 hours as Captain on type, including 50 hours flown in the last six months

- Permanent contract, with taxes paid in the Netherlands and social security in Belgium
