Role Overview Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) in a worldwide flight department, operating safely and efficiently with emphasis on passenger service and safety. Key Responsibilities Operate private company aircraft safely and proficiently in compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs. Plan flights, selecting the safest and most efficient routes, providing for contingencies, determining fuel loads and developing alternative routings. Review all pertinent NOTAMs and interpret weather reports to finalise the flight plan. Perform pre-flight inspections to verify airworthiness, plus post-flight inspections. Determine accurate loading of passengers, baggage and cargo, including calculating and solving weight and balance problems. Use the Flight Risk Assessment Tool consistently to assess and mitigate risk. Complete records and appropriate entries in aircraft logbooks and operations forms. Collaborate on complex and non-routine responsibilities in an agile environment, applying flight experience to resolve issues and discussing escalated recommendations with peers or the manager. Take the initiative on assignments, expectations, priorities and deadlines; seek guidance and coaching, and volunteer for additional work when workload is light. Identify efficiencies and unsafe processes to the team and manager; draft standard operating procedures and develop job aids. Participate in the SMS programme and support a continuing SMS culture. Licences & Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent educational hours or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred. Commercial Multi-Engine Land Certificate, Instrument Airplane (ATP or ATP-CTP course completion preferred). Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate. Type rating highly preferred. Experience At least four years of commercial or private flight experience with advanced-technology EFIS and FMS cockpit systems. Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time logged. Minimum 1,000 hours multi-engine aeroplane flight time logged, jet or turboprop. Requirements Cognitive ability to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend complex ideas, learn quickly and apply learning to new situations. Process and results oriented, motivated to keep projects moving by removing obstacles and exploring alternatives. Applies best practices in documenting business requirements iteratively, particularly using agile methodologies. Ability to build professional, trusting business relationships and collaborate with all levels of departmental management. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Work hours are completely variable Monday through Sunday, with long working days. Ability to travel away from home with frequent overnight layovers. Valid passport and ability to travel overseas for worldwide operations. A service excellence attitude. What We Offer Anticipated salary range of $210,000 to $230,000. This range is not a guaranteed offer; the final salary is determined by factors such as experience, geographic location and other relevant considerations.
