Flight Standards Manager

About the role:

The Flight Standards Manager ensures that flights are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards. This role reports to the Flight Operations Manager Nominated Postholder and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities related to the planning, coordination, and execution of flight operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the administration of EFB system.
• Supervise, control and update Fleet’s Performance, Mass, and Balance data.
• Oversee the integration of new technology and systems into flight operations, ensuring compatibility with existing processes and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
• Review the updates of all subscriptions related to Operational Support (performance software, navigations charts, aeronautical publications, and manuals).
• Liaise with the manufacturers for all Operations Engineering Issues.
• Monitor the provision of the Operations department with Operational Data.
• Control and distribute Operations Manuals and publications related to Flight Operations.
• Maintain and monitor Company's Operational Libraries.
• Support route studies for all scheduled and non-scheduled flights.
• Ensure legibility and validity of onboard documentation.
• Represent SKY express externally to all Flight Standards related matters.

Requirements:

• Diplomas in related area of Aviation, or similar experience/ position in Flight Standards Department. 
• Experienced Captain.
• Previous experience in a managerial position will be considered an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations and relevant parts of operational requirements and procedures.
• Knowledge of the AOC holder’s Operations Specifications.
• Familiar with Compliance Monitoring System and auditing processes.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
