Role Overview The Flight Line Crew Leader provides oversight to the A-level workforce for flight line and minor maintenance activities. This full-time leadership role offers an annual salary package of AUD 105,504 plus superannuation plus a military bonus. Key Responsibilities Coordinate flight line planning activities to execute the planned flying programme. Ensure the aircraft is fit for the intended sortie while discharging the Dispatch to Operator function. Supervise and certify high-frequency scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance. Exercise the privilege of a B1 licence by issuing a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) for line maintenance activities, if licensed. Exceed customer expectations and deliver an efficient operation while maintaining a safe environment. Ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is carried out in accordance with Pilatus/OEM approved publications and instructions, using approved parts from approved sources. Make certain staff are correctly trained and certified for the work assigned to them and that the procedures in the MOE are followed. Ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with the PTS MOE. Deploy in support of deployed Australian Defence Force operations. Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and the Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures set out in Jet Aviation Governance and Policies. Work with the Flight Line Coordinator to foster a sense of 'Safety First' within the A-level workforce. Maintain good relationships with the customer. Report and raise observations through the appropriate process regarding continuous improvement, safety management and customer satisfaction. Other duties as directed by your supervisor from time to time to support programme success. Licences & Qualifications Essential: Minimum Certificate IV in Aeroskills. Desirable: DASA B1.1 licence. Desirable: Previously held an Australian Defence Force security clearance. Requirements Demonstrated understanding of civil and military aviation regulatory requirements for maintenance (Part 145). Demonstrable safety focus. Excellent communication skills, common courtesy and customer orientation. Able to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions, and to meet the minimum physical requirements of the job. Able to deploy on notification nationally or internationally. Strong initiative, self-direction, proactivity and leadership skills. Basic knowledge and effective use of PC applications including Microsoft Word, email, web browsers and Excel.
