About the Company Mesa Airlines, Inc. is an FAA Part 121-certificated air carrier and a subsidiary of Mesa Air Group. Mesa is actively seeking First Officer candidates to fly its regional jet fleet, which consists of the Embraer 175, across multiple crew bases. Mesa Airlines is a United Express Aviate Program Partner. Pilots who join Aviate gain a direct path to United as a First Officer on completion of the Aviate programme and its hiring requirements. ATP — 1,500 hours 1,500 hours total flight time 500 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, 50 hours multi-engine (fixed wing) 250 hours pilot in command (fixed wing) and 100 hours instrument At least 23 years of age Restricted ATP — 1,500 hours 1,500 hours total flight time 200 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, 25 hours multi-engine (fixed wing) 250 hours pilot in command (fixed wing) and 75 hours instrument At least 21 years of age Restricted ATP — 1,250 hours Two-year degree from an FAA-approved aviation programme 1,250 hours total flight time 200 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, 25 hours multi-engine (fixed wing) 250 hours pilot in command (fixed wing) and 75 hours instrument At least 21 years of age Restricted ATP — 1,000 hours Four-year degree from an FAA-approved aviation programme 1,000 hours total flight time 200 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, 25 hours multi-engine (fixed wing) 250 hours pilot in command (fixed wing) and 75 hours instrument At least 21 years of age Restricted ATP — 750 hours (military) Military pilot with honourable discharge or current service, and a DD-214 form 750 hours total flight time and 250 hours pilot in command (fixed wing) At least 21 years of age Requirements Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings Current FAA First Class Medical certificate and demonstrated instrument proficiency ATP written examination; CTP training can be provided to qualified applicants FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit Current valid passport, legal ability to work in the U.S. and to travel in and out of the country without restriction Able to pass a security background check and an FAA-mandated drug test High school diploma or GED Ability to read and speak English Additional Information Mesa Airlines recognises the skills associated with helicopter flying. Rotary wing time may be included in total time, but applicants must still meet the 25-hour multi-engine and 250-hour fixed-wing pilot in command requirements.
