Role Overview ExecuJet Middle East is seeking a First Officer - Global 8000 to fill a vacancy within its Flight Operations division, based out of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The position is rostered with leave allocation. Key Responsibilities Liaise with the pilot-in-command or lead commander and with passengers when an aircraft defect or other operational issue may affect the aircraft's schedule Be responsible for the aircraft in accordance with the ExecuJet Middle East Private Operations Manual, depending on aircraft registry, including operations, flight duty periods and safety Ensure the aircraft is operated in accordance with the applicable ExecuJet Middle East Commercial or Private Operations Manual, including standard operating procedures Be familiar with company operational instructions and crew memos and the civil aviation regulations of the state of registry, and operate accordingly Assist the pilot-in-command in ensuring aircraft paperwork is in order and the aircraft is airworthy before departure Carry out flight duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures, including procedures, limitations and performance for the aircraft type, as allocated by the commander Confirm safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous independent check of both geographical position and safe terrain clearance Create a safe and professional on-board environment with emphasis on good Crew Resource Management Ensure passengers' travel documents are correct before departure Support the pilot-in-command with passenger safety briefings when requested Brief passengers on journey time, en-route weather, possible delays and anything else pertinent to the flight when delegated by the pilot-in-command Contribute to a high standard of crew discipline and presentation, ensuring the crew never damage the reputation or image of ExecuJet Middle East Report any fault, failure, malfunction, defect, abnormality, event, incident or accident that may affect airworthiness or safe operation, including emergency systems, through the correct channels Report to the commander any incident that may or could endanger the safety of the operation Comply with all applicable flight time limitation and rest requirements Obtain information or explanation from the commander when necessary to fulfil the co-pilot's function Verify synchronisation of both Electronic Flight Bags before the flight Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures applying to the business Licences & Qualifications ATPL with a current type rating Languages: fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage IT skills: basic Microsoft Office Experience 1,500 hours total time 1,000 hours multi-engine time 500 hours jet time 200 hours on type Corporate or business aviation background required Requirements Character Profile Professional Flexible Team player who also works well without supervision Works well under pressure Proactive Additional Information These duties are indicative of the role and are not exhaustive; they may change from time to time to meet the company's business objectives as required by the manager.

Requirements
