Role Overview The Flight Operations Department has an opportunity for a First Officer position on the Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 (ERJ). Candidates need to be team players who seek excellence in every aspect of their performance. Contour is seeking experienced pilots for its growing team. The position requires the highest levels of professionalism and leadership and a commitment to safe, reliable operations. Key Responsibilities Place safety above all operational priorities. Operate the aircraft in compliance with Part 135 on-demand regulations. Perform all company-assigned duties in accordance with company policies and manuals. Conduct preflight planning and prepare flight plans. Provide excellent customer service to passengers. Ensure aircraft cleanliness and readiness for passenger comfort and safety. Comply with uniform and professional appearance standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by station leadership or company management. Requirements Be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Current passport. Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States. Must understand, read and write English. Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to a criminal history records check, reference check and national driver's record check, with no excessive check ride failures. Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and submit to and pass FAA and company-mandated random drug and alcohol tests. Polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset. Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities. Maintain strong attention to detail; self-motivated, able to motivate others and a team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills delivered with tact and professionalism. Able to work in stressful situations and under tight time constraints. Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules. Able to lift 75 lbs. routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation. No previous aviation-related accidents or incidents. Must have a residence that allows reporting to work within 120 minutes of a dispatch call during the assigned duty period. Preferred No more than 2 check ride failures. Licences & Qualifications Commercial certificate, multi-engine land licence and instrument airplane rating. Current First-Class Medical Certificate (verified at the time of interview). English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE). Experience Total time: 500 hours required / 750 hours preferred. Multi-engine: 25 hours required / 50 hours preferred. Paid sick leave: accrual of up to 56 hours per year; unused sick leave rolls over annually until the sick bank reaches 480 hours. Vested vacation hours: granted on 1 January following the hire date and available for use in line with company policy. Travel privileges: non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel on Contour from hire, plus access to MyID Travel after 6 months of active service. Leaves of absence: medical leave, non-medical family care leave, maternity and paternity leave and personal leave, as set out in the Employee Handbook. The starting annual salary for this position is $36,000.00, with a salary range of $36,000.00 - $44,959.07. Subject to schedule and certain thresholds being met, pay incentives are available for additional trips worked or assigned, paid in addition to the monthly salary and set out in the handbook provided during onboarding. Additional Information Domicile: Contour's current domicile and potential base assignments are discussed during the interview process.
