Role Overview Transavia is looking for experienced Boeing 737NG First Officers to fly from its Brussels base. You will initially operate the B737NG; in the coming years the 737 fleet will gradually be replaced by the Airbus A321neo and you will receive full conversion training for the new type. You will take off from and land at a wide variety of airports, from Greek islands to popular city-break destinations, many with challenging factors such as high terrain and varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Share responsibility for the safety and efficiency of a challenging flight operation Under the direction of the Captain, ensure a safe and pleasant flight for everyone on board Work closely with the rest of the crew and with operational support colleagues before and during the flight, within and beyond Transavia Contribute to a genuinely great journey for passengers and the company alike Licences & Qualifications Valid EASA (frozen) ATPL Valid ME/IR (A) with PBN Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate MCC certificate Advanced UPRT certificate (if the licence was issued after 20 December 2021) Minimum ICAO ELP level 5 to apply; ELP 6 is required before employment starts Valid Boeing 737NG type rating Valid EU passport Experience Minimum 500 actual hours as First Officer on the Boeing 737NG, of which 50 hours flown in the last 6 months Able to swim one full pool length unaided in order to take part safely in the wet drill What We Offer Between 500 and 2,800 hours on the B737: starting salary of €5,712 gross per month, plus a monthly allowance of €22 gross per block hour (which can amount to more than 100 hours per month) More than 2,800 hours on the B737: starting salary of €6,324 gross per month, plus the same €22 gross per block hour allowance Annual salary increases averaging €300 gross per month, excluding inflation indexation Permanent contract — taxes paid in the Netherlands, social security contributions paid in Belgium End-of-year bonus of 8% of base gross salary, plus holiday allowance Pension scheme with a 10% employer contribution Loss of licence insurance Uniform, parking and medical examinations covered by Transavia Final roster issued 35 days in advance 20 days of annual leave under the Belgian accrual system plus 10 public holidays (pro rata) Excellent travel benefits including MyID/ID95 travel after 3 months Strong guidance and support in your development as a pilot Additional Information Apply directly using the button on the vacancy page.
