Role Overview Cargolux is recruiting a First Officer on the Boeing 747-8 / 747-400, based in Luxembourg. The airline is seeking highly motivated and skilled pilots who share its commitment to excellence and will thrive in a team-oriented environment. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent (for example Baccalauréat, Abitur, A-Level, Matura, Fachhochschulreife) Unrestricted rights for international travel Legal right to work in Luxembourg and, where applicable, a valid work authorisation (for example EU citizenship, EU Blue Card or any other legally valid work permit) Ability to successfully pass a background security check and a pre-employment medical test Willingness and ability to transfer the pilot licence to a Luxembourg-issued EASA licence Licences & Qualifications EASA Part-FCL ATPL, or CPL/IR with ATPL theory (frozen ATPL), or MPL Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate Minimum ICAO English language proficiency level 4 Experience Minimum 1,500 hours multi-pilot multi-engine on jet aircraft, or on turboprop aircraft with MTOW above 10 tonnes or seating capacity above 19 seats Second Officer flight time is excluded and will not count towards the 1,500-hour minimum Additional requirements for MPL holders: 250 hours as PIC; or 500 hours as PIC under supervision; or a total of 250 hours including at least 70 hours as PIC with the remaining hours as PIC under supervision What We Offer A competitive salary package as Junior First Officer, First Officer or Senior First Officer in accordance with previous experience, among many other benefits
