Role Overview Air New Zealand is seeking experienced ATR Flight Simulator Instructors to join its Flight Simulator Training team in Auckland. In this role you will help shape the next generation of pilots through high-quality simulator instruction, ensuring flight crew continue to operate safely and confidently across the network. You will work with state-of-the-art simulation technology and collaborate with experienced aviation professionals in an innovative and forward-thinking training environment. Remuneration is competitive, with the turboprop Simulator Instructor package recently aligned with jet roles. Key Responsibilities Deliver flight simulator and classroom instruction to ATR pilots, supporting initial, recurrent and upgrade training Conduct flight checks, assessments and evaluations in line with NZCAA Part 121 standards Contribute to training programme development to ensure continuous improvement and compliance Maintain training records and ensure accuracy in performance monitoring Collaborate with operational and training teams to uphold Air New Zealand's high standards of safety and performance Provide coaching and mentorship to pilots, fostering a learning culture built on excellence and support Licences & Qualifications Required: NZCAA CPL or ATPL Eligibility to hold an NZCAA D-Category Instructor Rating Eligibility to live and work permanently in New Zealand at the time of applying (New Zealand citizen, New Zealand permanent resident or Australian citizen) Experience Instructional experience Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time What We Offer Staff travel: discounted flights for you and your family, plus access to standby travel on other international airlines Life insurance: 100,000 dollars life or terminal illness cover for permanent New Zealand-based employees under 65 Medical expense cover: access to low-cost Koruhealth medical cover and discounted Southern Cross plans FlexiLeave: purchase up to four extra weeks of leave each year Additional Information Requisition reference: JID-704. Requirements

• Deliver flight simulator and classroom instruction to ATR pilots, supporting initial, recurrent and upgrade training
• Conduct flight checks, assessments and evaluations in line with NZCAA Part 121 standards
• Contribute to training programme development to ensure continuous improvement and compliance
• Maintain training records and ensure accuracy in performance monitoring
