Role Overview Ameriflight's Flight Training Department is seeking a highly qualified, dual-rated EMB-120 / SA-227 Instructor to join its Flight Training Team. The role is primarily instructional, supporting ground, simulator and aircraft training across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned aviation professional with strong instructional capabilities and the flexibility to operate in a dynamic, multi-base training environment. The position is Dallas, Texas based but requires significant travel: ground instruction is conducted in Dallas, simulator instruction in Houston and Paris, France, and in-aircraft instruction at various Ameriflight bases throughout the United States. Key Responsibilities Conduct ground school, simulator and flight training for new hire pilots and transitioning pilots, and recurrent training for currently qualified crew members. Facilitate online and virtual training sessions as required. Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, company policies and training standards. Evaluate pilot performance and provide constructive feedback and documentation. Support curriculum development and training programme enhancements. Maintain standardisation across training platforms and locations. Provide line coverage as needed during peak operational demand or when not engaged in training duties. Licences & Qualifications ATP certificate. First Class or Second Class medical certificate. Current passport and the ability to travel internationally without restriction. Must have and maintain a valid driver's licence and meet all company insurance criteria. Experience 3,000 hours total time; 2,000 hours PIC; 500 hours cross-country; 500 hours multi-engine PIC; 500 hours turbine PIC; 200 hours instrument; 100 hours night. Previous experience on EMB-120 and/or SA-227 aircraft strongly preferred. Prior Part 121 or Part 135 airline training experience preferred. Demonstrated experience as a check airman, instructor pilot or training captain preferred. Experience with simulator instruction environments preferred. Familiarity with advanced training technologies and LMS platforms preferred. Previous involvement in training programme development or standardisation preferred. Requirements Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. English proficient. Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA security background check. What We Offer Competitive pay.
