Job Summary

At Porter Airlines, a rewarding pilot career awaits. Direct Entry Captains with various previous experience may be eligible to receive a signing bonus!

If you hold previous experience on a Dash 8-400, you'll receive a $25,000 signing bonus!

If you hold previous experience on a Dash 8-100/200/300, you'll receive a $20,000 signing bonus!

If you hold previous experience as a Turboprop Captain on aircraft with MTOW greater than 29,000 pounds (ATR42/72, Saab 340), you'll receive a $15,000 signing bonus!

All signing bonuses would be payable upon successful completion of a Line Check.

Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot License (Transport Canada)
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total time
  • 500 hours Pilot In Command on Q400 or 1,500 hours Pilot In Command, heavy turboprop in excess of 44,000lbs MGTOW
  • Preference will be given to those with time on type and with 705 operation experience
  • Aviation College or University Degree is an asset
  • Pilots that do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered based on experience and other factors

    • Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport - YOW
    • Halifax Stanfield International Airport - YHZ
