Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Design Authoriser to join a dynamic team supporting critical aerospace projects. As a Design Authoriser, you will play a pivotal role in leading design investigations, approving technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness and safety standards. You'll be part of a fast-paced environment where collaboration and technical leadership are key to success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and authorise design solutions for major and minor modifications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Ensure design standards and requirements are met, liaising with multiple stakeholders.
• Operate as a recognised design signatory with industry-approved delegation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and capability.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Design Authoriser with structural expertise.
• Industry-recognised design signatory delegation (Design Approval/Authorisation).
• Previous aerospace experience - Airbus background highly desirable.
• Ability to deliver on time, cost, and quality while embracing change.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.

Role Details

• Location: Broughton (onsite requirement, hybrid working possible).
• Contract: Until 31/12/2026, with potential extension.
• Hours: 35 per week (flexible within 7am-7pm).
• Rate: Up to £52.00 per hour (Umbrella or PAYE equivalent).
• Security: BPSS+ clearance required.
