Nobox are inviting applications from For the Position of Compliance Security Officer on behalf of Emerald Airlines to join their Dublin Office, with some potential to travel.

The Role
As a Compliance & Security Officer (OPS Auditor) at Emerald Airlines, you will be responsible for independently assessing and assuring compliance and risk across operational and security domains. This role requires prior involvement in compliance monitoring, inspections, or auditing activities, along with experience contributing to risk assessment processes within an aviation environment. You will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, identifying systemic weaknesses, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation. The successful candidate will be expected to further develop their auditing and risk assessment capability within the role, supported by the Compliance & Security team. The position reports to the Head of Security & Compliance and operates with a high degree of independence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in commercial air transport operations, with direct exposure to operational environments
  • Proven experience conducting audits, inspections, or compliance monitoring activities in an aviation environment (including roles such as cabin safety oversight or operational compliance).
  • Experience contributing to or supporting risk assessments, with the ability to develop this into independent risk assessment capability
  • Working knowledge of: o EASA regulations o Aviation Security (AVSEC) requirements o Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Security Management Systems (SeMS)
  • Ability to work independently and objectively, including challenging operational practices where required
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and prioritise findings
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills

Desirables

  • Experience using audit management and reporting tools
  • Experience interacting with aviation regulators (e.g. IAA, UK CAA)
  • IOSA auditing experience or familiarity with ISARPs
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or information security frameworks
  • Previous experience in covert testing and security assurance activities
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive corrective action/mitigation action
