Reports to: Cargo Supervisor

Cargo Officer needs to ensure airport cargo operations are run smooth and efficient without any failure on safety and security in all aspects. They are the key party to strive to provide reliable and cost-effective cargo and mail or even courier services to our customers. We welcome both fresh graduates & those who are looking for new challenges! 

Monthly income up to $16,000, join now and be eligible to get an additional joining incentive of HK$ 12,000*. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process airway bill data from cargo forwarders
  • Process all regulatory check set by different authorities, e.g. US ACAS
  • Compile Cargo Load Plan for export flight
  • Handle transit cargo according to load plan
  • Carry out pre-manifesting and manifesting according to booking list, load plan and adhere to all loading limitation/requirement
  • Communicate closely with warehouse and Load Control so as to deliver load figures accurately and timely
  • Handle post-flight documentation and activities according to standards set
  • Perform duties as designated by Cargo Supervisor and other senior level
  • Accept various cargo products e.g. general cargo, Pharma LIFT, live animal, dangerous goods, etc. according to the company and industrial standards on safety, security and electronic documentation e.g. E-AWB handling. (customer airline)

Requirements

  • Right to work in Hong Kong
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Minimum HKCEE/HKDSE qualifications, with at least 5 subjects passed including English language, or equivalent
  • Good command in spoken English. Proficiency in Cantonese and written Chinese are an advantage
  • Flexibility to work on shift schedules (including overnight, weekend and public holidays)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome, experience in airline, especially in cargo operations would be an advantage
  • Sound PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • As the position you are applying for is a Safety Sensitive Role you are also required to pass a pre-employment drug test

Working Hours

  • Average 8.8 hours of work including 1.25 hour meal break per day, 22 days per month. Shift work required with starting time 7am / 3:30pm / 11:30pm
  • Working hour and meal hour may vary subject to flight schedule and operational needs
