Job Description
Role Overview Transavia is looking for experienced Captains on the Boeing 737NG for its new home base in Brussels, which joins Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven this year. From day one you are part of the team building the base. You will fly the Boeing 737NG, and over the coming years the airline moves to the Airbus A321neo, for which you will be retrained. During the start-up phase of the Brussels base you work with a team of around 60 pilots, a close-knit professional group put together on the basis of experience, responsibility and a hands-on mentality. As Captain you are the point of reference in the cockpit. You carry final responsibility for a safe and smooth operation and, together with your crew, create a pleasant, professional atmosphere on board. You fly to a wide range of destinations within Europe, from sunny islands to busy city airports; the variation in routes, weather conditions and airfields makes every day different and calls for sharpness, experience and teamwork. Licences & Qualifications Valid EASA ATPL Valid ME/IR (A) PBN Valid Class 1 medical certificate MCC certificate Advanced UPRT certificate if the licence was issued after 20 December 2021 At least ICAO ELP 5 on application; ELP 6 is required before joining Transavia Valid Boeing 737NG type rating with a minimum of 1,000 current hours as Captain on type, of which 50 hours in the last six months Experience Minimum 3,500 total flying hours on multi-engine aircraft Requirements Able to swim one full length unaided, so you can take part safely in the wet drill Valid EU passport What We Offer Starting salary of €11,220 gross per month, plus a monthly block hour allowance of €39 gross per hour, which can run to more than 100 hours a month; the salary rises by an average of €300 gross a year, excluding indexation where applicable Permanent contract, with taxes paid in the Netherlands and social security in Belgium Year-end payment of 8% of the gross basic salary Holiday allowance Pension scheme with a 10% employer contribution Loss of licence scheme Uniform, parking costs and medical examinations fully reimbursed by Transavia Final roster published 35 days in advance 20 holiday days under the Belgian accrual rules, plus 10 public holidays (pro rata) Staff travel under the ID95 scheme within Transavia after three months' service, and access to a worldwide network of airlines at attractive rates after one year, subject to availability The option to work part-time from 12 months after your line check Additional Information How to apply: apply directly using the button on the vacancy page. Requirements
- Valid EASA ATPL

- Valid Class 1 medical certificate
- MCC certificate
- Advanced UPRT certificate if the licence was issued after 20 December 2021
